Tuning Round is the client book for independent piano tuner-technicians: today's round in drive order, a service sheet for every visit, automatic rebooking, and a humidity history for every piano.

Getting started
The app opened with clients already in it. Whose are they?
They're a sample round so you can try every screen straight away. When you're ready to start your own book, go to Settings → Erase everything, then add your clients from Clients → New client. You can bring the sample back at any time with Load the sample round.
How do I plan a day's round?
On Round, pick the day in the strip and tap Add stop. Pianos that are due soonest are listed first. Tap Drive order and drag the cards into the order you'll drive. Swipe a card to push it to the next day or remove it.
What happens when I file a service sheet?
The visit is marked done, parts you took from stock are deducted, and the piano's next tuning is booked at the client's interval (6 or 12 months). A reminder to call the client is set for the number of days before that you choose in Settings (14 by default).
Service sheets
How is "cents flat" worked out?
The pitch you enter for A4 is compared with A440. More than 15 cents flat is highlighted, and the app suggests a pitch raise. The pitch you leave the piano at can be A440, A442, A435, A415 and other standards, and the next sheet for that piano starts from it.
Why can't I use the camera?
If you declined camera access, open iOS Settings → Tuning Round and turn Camera on. You can still attach a photo from your library without camera access.
The price suggestion is wrong for me.
Set your own tuning, pitch raise and per-string fees in Settings → Fees. You can always type a different price on the sheet.
Pianos and serial numbers
How accurate is the serial age?
Each maker's table has published anchor years, and the app interpolates between them. It's normally within a year or two. For valuations, confirm the date with the maker.
The photo reader didn't find my serial.
Take the photo straight on, fill the frame with the plate, and light it from the side so the stamped digits cast shadows. You can always type the number in.
What does the drift chart show?
For each filed visit it shows the room's humidity and how far the pitch had moved from A440. Dry winters usually pull a piano flat and damp summers push it sharp, which is useful when you explain a pitch raise to a client.
Reminders
I'm not getting call reminders.
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Tuning Round. Reminders are set when you file a sheet. Sheets filed while notifications were off won't have a reminder.
Data and exports
Where is my book stored? Is it backed up?
Everything stays on your device. Nothing is sent to us. Your normal iCloud or computer backup of the device includes the app's data. See the privacy policy.
Can I get my income into a spreadsheet?
Open Ledger, choose the year, tap Export and then CSV. Share it to Files, Mail or your accountant.
